We’re very lucky to be the chosen charity benefitting from Huntercombe Golf Club‘s Captains’ Charity Day this year! Alongside its magnificent Charity Day event, they have held a live auction and a silent auction, as well as fundraising at its recent Ladies Day!
We’re so incredibly grateful for the support from its members, especially the Club’s president, Christopher, who advocated persuasively on our behalf, and the Captains, Ian and Jane, who have taken up the fundraising challenge so enthusiastically!
Thank you also to one of our volunteers, Sarah, who gave a short but incredibly moving speech about the ways she supports families.
Being a small charity, it’s not often we’re chosen to be a recipient of these types of fundraising events – we’ve been bowled over by the generosity of everyone at Huntercombe! Time will tell how much has been raised but we thank you all so much!
